Leisure, relaxation and a tranquil atmosphere at Otoctone Combloux.
There are many reasons to spend time in the mountains chalet. To name a few: fresh mountain air, summer hikes, and winter skiing. Evenings by the fire, and meals consisting of tasty regional specialities. Who is in?
I am a mountain girl at heart. I love to spend most of the winter in the mountains near the slopes. In the summertime close to nature. The air is crisper than in Geneva and I have new energy there. Not to mention the delicious food. Fondue in the winter and Savoyarde lighter food in summer. As we are located just near the border with France together with my family we are very often in Chamonix or Megève. I feel at home there. I love to admire the Mont Blanc massive whenever I have the occasion for it. In June I spend a lovely week in Chamonix with my family and only 2 days after I was invited to discover Otoctone. The luxury property in Comboux, near Megève. It was a lovely invitation to one of the most modern and luxury chalets in the area. The Otoctone Combloux, a unique property that gives Coup de Coeur to every person that visits it.
Otoctone Combloux is a high-end chalet with a traditional feel. Understated luxury, felt but not obvious, contemporary and welcoming. Full of wonderful corners and places to relax or even hide. There is everything needed for the most comfortable stay. To name a few things: indoor pool, sauna, hammam, small gym, ski room, parking, gaming room and more.
All the details of the place have been designed beautifully. From cosy sofas, armchairs, and warm blankets to the indirect lighting. Interesting and unusual decorations, books, and candles. Everything is designed to create a cosy and relaxing atmosphere. One of the main focuses of the place is the large central fireplace. I can only imagine a winter evening by the fire with a mulled wine in one hand and a book in the other.
Ambience at Otoctone Combloux
The chalet is located at 1000 m in a beautiful domain facing the Mont Blanc Massive. The ski slopes are only a few minutes away and a private chauffeur can take the guests there in the winter. In the Combloux village, there are also restaurants and it can be a nice place to discover. Small yet charming. This ultra-luxurious chalet has eight
half-levels and 800 m2. I was truly surprised by how large it is and how well designed it is. You can see it’s large, but same time you can get to all levels easily. There are 7 bedrooms and it can accommodate
up to 15 people. There are 6 bedrooms and a children’s room.

Cosy Rooms
The rooms just like the common space are beautifully designed within the contemporary chalet atmosphere. There is a mixture between the wood, fur, cosy drapes and bed covers. There are small details that count, nice bedside tables, books and storage areas. There are bathrobes, slippers and organic toiletries.
Spa
The spa is located on the lower level of the chalet. It is ideal for relaxation in the sauna after skiing or chilling in the pool in summer. Place for fun with family and relaxation with a friend or partner.
What to do in the area
As I already mentioned earlier there are a lot of adventures await in the area.

While we stayed at the property the PR agency made sure we got to try some of the special requests to share with our audience. We had a private yoga class on the terrace that was really lovely and felt good before having a nice brunch.
We have also had a private chef Philippe Convers from callchef74, who looked after our tummies and spirits. He took us on a hiking tour and cooked healthy meals for us.
Press trip with Geneva Bloggers
Together with 5 more bloggers, we were invited to spend a lovely weekend at Otoctone Combloux. It was a weekend in a serene atmosphere with many activities and a culinary journey.
Chef Olivier took us on a hiking tour where we were picking up flowers and plants for dinner. Later we prepared a healthy salad with all products we picked up. It was an interesting experience.
We enjoyed a cinema night at the private cinema located downstairs. It was fabulous.

Summary
The Octoctone Combloux is a unique property. A luxury chalet with the most personalized services. Every person will feel at home and find the best spot for themselves. Whether you will go alone, as a couple or with family and friends you will love your time there. What I must add is that this luxury property comes with a high price tag.
The weekly rates start from 30,000 Euro. Other remarks to note:
• This summer it is not yet for rent.
• The chalet is rented by the week from 01.12 (opening of the rentals), but customers can already book their stay now.
• In winter, the rental price of the chalet includes the services of a private chef.
• The capacity is 12 adults and 3 children.
