Dream stay in La Belle Vue Spiez and how to prepare most glamour bathrobe photo shot with a bestie.
In January I had a lovely trip to La Belle Vue Spiez Boutique Hotel with my friend Anna. We stayed in cozy room with a Scandinavian decor with the most beautiful view on lake Thun. Hotel was recently reopened by a couple with a hospitality background: Emilie Lindblon and her husband Gianluca Marongiu. What is unique about this place is that place have a cafe downstairs with a great selection of coffees and healthy (also vegan) desserts, but also they offer 3 course brunch.
I. Brunch with the view at La Belle Vue Spiez
I love brunch, it’s really my favorite meal and I love to enjoy it to the fullest. I must tell you this branch was delicious and it really looked like a menu in a fancy, big city cafΓ© . Super delicious, with selection of avocado toast with eggs, pancakes, yogurts, granola, pastries and much more. All set in an idyllic atmosphere of the lake and mountains.
We have also been told that most indigence come from the region, as sustainability is very important part of philosophy of this hotel. I like that approach in hotels and it’s not also supporting the local economy, but allowing guest to try something new and have an unique experience.
There was also a lovely room where you can have a tea or coffee and enjoy the view.
II. Balcony View
At La Belle Vue Spiez Hotel we have stayed in Panorama Double Room. It a rural, Scandinavian style room with a large terrace to enjoy the view. It’s nicely equipped and there is a coffee machine and a fridge with drinks just outside on the corridor.
3. Lazy day in bed.
I must be honest, we didn’t spend Sunday after the brunch on excursions around the lake or visiting the near-by castle, but instead we… stayed in bed, relaxed, read books and watched Bridgeton on Netflix. You can see some of the photos below. La Belle Vue Spiez hotel was just perfect place for our relaxation day. Who else would like to have a relaxing weekend like that?
I need to add, that because of low prices at Belle Vue Spiez (prices starts with 79 Chf per night with a brunch) also attracts many people who want to work from hotel instead of home and enjoy the hotel breakfast and service.
After the lock-down in Switzerland will finish this hotel will also have a restaurant open for dinner.
