How To Wear Black Ribbed Knit Dress in Summer.
I was in love with Eleventy SS21 Collection since I saw it last September at MFW and I couldn’t wait to wear their gorgeous pieces this summer. When I planed my trip to Ibiza I thought that some garments will be just perfect for this occasion. Please stay with me to see what I wore and how I styled my look and also to find out more about Eleventy Milano brand.
Cafe Del Mar Ibiza
The inspiration for Cristina Ortiz’s SS21 Collection called Mediterranean Pleasures (Lights, Nature, Sensations, Colors of the Mediterranean) is an imaginary trip along the Mediterranean coastline. I had a pleasure to speak with designer herself last September and find more about this dreamy line. SS21 collection was focused on a chic and easy off-duty look. designers featured plenty of everyday staples in high-end fabrics and as usual white, neutrals, light pink and blue, but also some black pieces. Crisitna Ortiz was inspired with ceramics, white houses, earth colors and she designed clothes with and idea to create versatile pieces that could be ideal for work at home, aperitif or holidays and women will feel comfortable in their Eleventy’s fashion staples. As always they feature some architectural shapes, classical lines and some modernism. It’s all about relaxed attitude, enjoyment, focusing on the moment and slowing down.
What I wore in Ibiza
Black Ribbed-Knit buttoned stretch dress
This dress is composed with elite’ material that gives lightness and elasticity to the garment. I love how fabrics wraps around the body and how soft it is. Thanks to buttons it’s possible to change the look of the dress. I had it quite open in Ibiza, but more closed when I wear it in Geneva.
I paired this dress with
Sandals in Napa leather in black also from Eleventy, and a summer straw bag from Dorothy Perkins (which I bought in 2019).

My friend Anna was wearing Eleventy Milano Kaftan Dress in white. It’s a linen dress just perfect for summer days and Mediterranean trips. Both, relaxed and sophisticated. Anna also worn Eleventy sandals with python pattern.

What I love about my black knit dress is that it can be worn with any kind of shoes and this adds different vibe to the look.
I also wore this dress in Milan during Milan Fashion Week Men where I met with Paolo Zuntini the Founder of the brand and creative director of Women department.

I love their summer collection because every piece can be part of a capsule collection and be a timeless piece in any wardrobe that you can always reach out to. Just by looking at our looks you can see that these are the dresses that always will be in fashion. Below I attached some pictures that I took in Eleventy showroom in Milano, last September.
More about Eleventy Brand
Eleventy Milano is a brand that I know and follow since few years now and I love to see how much it grows every year.
Brand was founded in 2007 by Marco Baldassari and Paolo Zuntini and is a sustainable brand within luxury segment. Their Motto is “First Class made in Italy.” What is characterizing Eleventy is that everything is made in Italy, the group is outsourcing the production within their network of best specialists from Puglia to Veneto region. Fabrics used in their collections are environmentally sustainable and traceable.
Smart luxury is a modern interpretation of the human being’s path in the world with a versatile and casual style
Eleventy Milano it’s not a fast fashion trend, 100% made in Italy is a fact, ethical fashion is brand’s philosophy and they keep on trying to stay more and more sustainable. I have been shown for example ELEVENTY T-Shirt made from organic cotton, it’s not only ethical, but also quality is immediately different. The supply chain of creating this cotton is different to a normal one, they avoid pesticides, reducing production cost and locking more CO2 into soil, among many other benefits. In the new collection that I saw recently in Milan they will also include a high quality denim pieces made in sustainable way, with much less water usage that usual.
Eleventy is definitely a brand to follow and invest in timeless, sophisticated pieces from its collections. Affordable luxury called by the brand as “Smart Luxury” and sustainability all together.

Geneva Boutique
Eleventy Milano just recently opened its door in Geneva and I am very happy about it. New Flagship boutique has a prestigious address: Rue du Rhone, most luxurious shopping street in Geneva, where all significant brands are based. There is a beautiful main entrance and wonderful large windows displays with wonderful fashion installations. Boutique inside is divided by men and women sections, is very modern, spacious and elegant. In all Eleventy Milano boutiques you can find nice decorations, books, candles and it makes just a beautiful luxurious touch to the whole interiors.
What is very interesting at Eleventy Milano Flagship in Geneva there is also Made to Measure service for shirts and suits and it’s possible customize all garments. This is definitely a synonym of smart luxury. There is also a wonderful and knowledgeable staff that will be most helpful during shopping experience.
