Location of Wi-Ki-Woo Hotel
This hotel is located on a calmer side of the white island: San Antoni de Portmany ( North Central coast of Ibiza) and it’s nearby most desired places like Cafe Mambo, Cafe del Mar or Skinny Kitchen. This area has most beautiful glowing sunsets and it’s set in one of the most beautiful natural harbours with azure blue waters. Wi-Ki-Woo Hotel is recognizable from far, because of their pastel colors combinations and upside down question mark logo. Hotel was launched in 2018 by British businessman Tony Truman, who also owns O Beach Ibiza Club and other business on the white island. Ever since it attracts many mostly British celebrities, including Kate Moss and her sister Lottie Moss.
The Ambiance
The ambiance of Wi-ki-Woo Hotel is like a pink paradise and fairy tale, nothing like I visited before. Terrace is beautifully designed with chevron patterns in pastel pink and green with black and white herringbone-style tiles on the bar and the floor. There are real palm-trees and decorative ones in pink everywhere, flower garlands and bar as a central piece of this gorgeous place. There are some Vespa scooters and other decorations that makes up wonder and forget about the real world and enjoy the retreat.
The Rooms
Once you are inside of Wi-Ki-Woo hotel Ibiza the colorful dream continues. Rooms has same colors aesthetics, pastel pink and mint green. Rooms are spacious with a small kitchen inside. Bed is large, comfortable and hypoallergenic. I especially loved the vanity parlor, will hairdryer and iron for the hair. Not to forget about super luxury Cowshed products in the bathroom and a Smeg mini bar. Free Wi-fi, room service, safety deposit box, coffee machine and TV. Balcony has nice designed chairs and it’s ideal for sipping coffee in the morning. I could literally spend most of my day in the room, if there wouldn’t be so much to do and see in the hotel and island itself.
The biggest surprise for us was the the scanner system to open the room. We could simply place our finger on the scanner and entry to the room with no need of cards or keys. I must say that in place like Ibiza it’s so ideal, as it’s so easy to misplace the card.
We stayed in FRONT SEA VIEW room. It’ s a large room with absolutely breathtaking panorama view on the Mediterranean sea.
Rooms in the hotels are affordable, with good quality and comfort. Room prices starts from 200 chf per night.
Pool
Pool at Wi-Ki-Woo hotel Ibiza is a pink paradise, with pink accessories, beds and palm trees. The water is so blue and clear, beds are large and comfortable. It’s ideal place for relaxation and fun. There is a service over there, so you can sip your champagne and tan all day long. They also have some nice fruit platters to share, that are always a great idea for a healthy snack. This part of the hotel is also available to non-guests of the hotel at price of 25 Euro per bed.
Food & Drinks
Food at Wi-Ki-Woo hotel Ibiza was delicious, fresh and with a nice British accent.
Breakfast
We started each day with Continental breakfast from the menu and it was a highlight of our day. We couldn’t resits and each day with started with Fresh Avocados with coriander and lime served on sough dough and poached eggs. It was absolutely delicious. I also recommend French Toast and different healthy/Vegan bawls options like Acai or Buddha Bawl. Breakfast is served in their beautiful restaurant and we chose to eat outside most of the days and once our our balcony. They serve Illy caffè that I love since I lived in Spain and in Gibraltar (it’s very popular over there, even though it’s an Italian coffee) and I always chose it over other coffee brands.
Lunch & Dinner
Lunch a dinner had the same menu and again it was possible to eat Al fresco with a stunning sea view. They offer a fusion menu with fresh, local ingredients. In the menu you can find burgers, wraps, Asian bites, lobsters, steaks and vegetarian options.
The Drinks
When it comes to drinks Wi-Ki-Woo Hotel Ibiza definitely delivered. They have a wonderful list of signature cocktails and other drinks. They also have a happy hour when they serve jugs for 4 or 6 people. They taste delicious: for example:
THE PRICKLY WI-KI – with a spiced rum, absolut pear, homemade pear cayenne and turmeric cordial, orange juice, dragon fruit and touch of citrus.
Bar is open for all guests, not only hotel guests and it’s possible to come for a nice fun evening with a lovely music played by DJ.
Wi-Ki-Woo during Covid
I feel like I need to add this paragraph even though it’s not the most beautiful topic. At midnight the music had to stop and restaurants and bar had to close. So it’s definitely not the same Ibiza like before the Covid, but it was still nice and we had a lot of nice time. Please note that we visited hotel in July 2021, so this might change. It’s best to ask Hotel about the current restrictions.
Another aspect was that Hotel organize a Travel Covid Tests directly in the room, performed by specialists who arrive on specified time. It was very convenient, as I didn’t have to search other place to do test and loose time doing so.
Summary
I recommend this place for people who would like to have more affordable stay in Ibiza, yet still in a wonderful location, at a nice hotel, good restaurant and have some fun. All Instagram lover, as they can take many, many beautiful pictures over there. People who never stayed in this part of Ibiza and would like to experience more calmer side of the island with the most stunning sunsets. I recommend it to group of girls or even boys, as it’s not a hotel only dedicated to women. It’s fabulous for birthday parties, hen nights and other celebrations. I loved my stay with my friend Anna, as I felt that we made the most of this stunning venue. If you would like to find out about more my hotel’s recommendations please check here.
