Haute Jewels Geneva, International Haute Jewellery Exhibition. Last week I had the pleasure to visit the Haute Jewels Geneva exhibition accompanied by Marie-Laure from Fairmont Hotel. This hotel was a beautiful venue for this international exhibition. In total eighteen of the world’s finest jewellery brands were exhibited from 30th March to 5th April.

City of Light as always has been a wonderful last stop in the Fashion Weeks Marathon. At first, I wasn’t sure if I should go to Paris. Milan Fashion Week was intense due to the busy schedule and Russian aggression in Ukraine. I decided to go to Paris at the last moment. Like last time I went with my friend Anna and I was happy I did. Paris this time has been sunny and warm, I enjoyed a lot this beautiful city during the golden hour.
SS22 Trends that I loved during MFW and PFW .I am very excited about SS22’s Fashion Trends. What I have seen at the runways in Milan and Paris last September made me feel more optimistic. Designers create with the desire to bring positivity, effortlessness and sexyness. They propose more glamour and extravagant pieces. However, they also take into consideration that we need more ready-to-wear, simple yet gorgeous and luxurious pieces that we can easily put together and wear anytime. They keep in mind that easy is not only comfortable but also fabulous.
MFW FW22/23. Spring was there, fashion atmosphere and beautiful street style all over the city. Typical Italian elegance was mixed with a dose of attitude. We could see celebrities and influencers who finally could come to Italy. To name a few: Kim Kardashian, Simon Porte Jacquemus, Kendall Jenner, Sharon Stone and Rihanna. There was a lot of colour and inspiration everywhere I went. Also, the collections of designers that I saw were full of optimism and beauty. They were so excited that the pandemic is nearly over and they wanted to demonstrate it in their collections. MFW FW 22 has shown us the energy that we missed for the last 2 years.
Etam PARIS is by far the number one lingerie brand in France. This brand aspires to put French Liberté on the global map and become the preferred French lingerie brand of women the world over. They are becoming more and more visible in Switzerland. especially thanks to the wonderful boutique they have recently opened at Rue de la Confédération. It’s a boutique-like no other in Geneva. Etam concept store is the 2nd boutique like this in the world, just after Paris.
Inside you will see inspirations for the catwalk, cosy changing rooms and a huge selection. Many very well prepared shop assistants will help you choose the ideal lingerie and the perfect size.

For Autumn/Winter 2021, MM6 Maison Margiela moves into reverse mode. Revolved inside out, upside down and back-to-front. Traditional pieces reveal new design dimensions for a reborn wardrobe inspired by these topsy turvy times. This collection began with a simple question: how do pieces transform when their iconic parts are slightly rearranged, or totally scrambled? The result is a complete macro/micro design reset. Genres change: a blouse becomes a casual top with satin shoulder pads and seams exposed on the outside; the signature MM6 lab coat in reverse shearling is ready for rugged weather and a Nordic patterned sweater in inside-out jacquard knit resembles a tattered, kaleidoscopic piece of tapestry. Anamorphosis flipped portrait prints of composers Sibelius, Satie and Ravel on T-shirts
provoke a second look, and the double handled clutch with hanging chain is delightful upside down.
Are you wondering which trends are best to wear this Fall-Winter 21/22 season? It is hard to choose from all that the fashion industry prepared for us. Designers were very creative as always, but this season they produced more realistic designs. Ready-to-wear designs are more functional and respectful to the changing world. Trends that work for every style and age. As always this season will make us dream and let us be inspired by fashion. There is optimism found in fabrics and colours. There is also a more sustainable approach to fashion on the catwalks and on the shelves. Which is more and more visible in Fashion. Brands that are not fully sustainable try to add more and more designs to their collections. They experiment with new fabrics and recycle them. Fall-Winter 21/22 trends are designed to shake up a bit this season, surprise us with bold designs. Of course, it’s hard to keep up with all of the trends. That is why I selected 2 trends, that can be easily adapted in daily life. They can be worn to work, shopping, stroll in the city or a dinner.
