Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Azerbaijan.

Baku has always been known for its striking architecture, rich history, and vibrant culture. But in recent years, it has been making a powerful entrance into the global fashion scene — and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Azerbaijan is at the heart of this transformation. From November 28 to 30, 2025, the city once again proved that it’s becoming one of the most exciting emerging fashion capitals.

Hosted inside the breathtaking Azerbaijan Carpet Museum, this season offered far more than traditional runway shows. It delivered a full sensory experience where heritage, innovation, and creativity collided. If you haven’t heard of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Azerbaijan in Baku yet, here are five reasons why it deserves your attention — and why you should consider experiencing it in person.

1. A Unique Blend of Cultural Heritage and Innovation at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Azerbaijan.
Very few fashion weeks in the world can say they take place inside a museum — especially one as architecturally iconic as the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum. The building itself is a cultural symbol, and when combined with futuristic fashion concepts, AI-assisted design elements, and immersive visual storytelling, it creates an atmosphere unlike anything else.
This fusion of the old and the new is what makes MBFW Azerbaijan stand out. Every show feels like a dialogue between tradition and the future, making the city a powerful global stage for innovation.

2. Designers Who Aren’t Afraid to Experiment.
This season presented collections from an impressive lineup of designers, including:
- Jemma Russo,
- Velibeyli,
- Viktoriya Varga,
- Paulina’s Friends,
- Alrawash,
- Khayam Khanukaev,
- Cuca Fashion,
- Ajoure Atelier
- Kaushik Velendra
What united them? A bold willingness to push boundaries. Futuristic silhouettes, experimental materials, digital art, and dramatic staging made every runway show feel like its own immersive world. This is the kind of fashion week where creativity is celebrated, and rules are made to be rewritten.

3. Exclusive Showrooms and High-End Collaborations.
Baku Fashion Week goes beyond the runway. Inside the museum, visitors explored beautifully curated showrooms featuring Narmeen Jewellery, the astrology-inspired skincare line DODICI Organic and Thalie Paris, which is the brand I have worked with for years.
Meanwhile, VIP guests were invited to private showrooms at the Four Seasons Hotel Baku, offering exclusive access to acclaimed designers Katerina Kvit and Kaushik Velendra.

4. An Immersive Cultural Experience — From Day to Night.
MBFW Azerbaijan is much more than a schedule of shows. It’s a three-day cultural celebration. Each day opened with live performances — from pop singer Elnur Huseynov to jazz vocalist Wilson Alade, and an acrobatic show by Talha Kavranoglu accompanied by DJ Berkcan Demir.

The nights continued at Pacifico, where DJs Nicolas Mun, Pancho, and Berkcan Demir turned the after-parties into must-attend events. The fashion energy truly never sleeps.

5. Baku Is Becoming a Rising Fashion Capital.
With major media outlets, strong international partnerships, luxury brand collaborations, and a roster of designers ready for global recognition, Baku is positioning itself as one of the region’s most exciting fashion destinations.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Azerbaijan is not just an event — it’s a statement of the city’s creative future. And if you’re passionate about fashion, culture, or discovering new creative hubs, this is one experience you won’t want to miss. There is so much to explore about the incredible city of Baku that I want to go back. Apart from the fashion and architecture, I also need to mention that Baku struck me as a very clean and safe city with extremely kind and welcoming people. So, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Azerbaijan is not the only reason for me to go back.
What do I think about my experience at this Fashion Week? Would you like to come next season?

I would like to extend a special thank you to the team at MBFWA, co-founder Aysel Huseynova, and Narmin from Narmeen Jewellery for their amazing assistance with our trip to Azajberjan. For more Fashion Weeks-related articles, please click here.
