The 78th Cannes Film Festival once again proved to be a dazzling convergence of cinema, culture, fashion, and meaningful connections. Over a week filled with unforgettable moments, I had the privilege of attending some of the festival’s most exclusive events and premieres, each offering a unique blend of glamour and inspiration.

A Star-Studded Start: Cannes Gala Dinner & Roberto Cavalli Party.
I arrived in Cannes right from the fun Saint-Tropez. The journey began on May 18th with the elegant Cannes Gala Dinner. An evening that set the tone for the festival’s spirit of sophistication and celebration. It was an event organised with Japan, and they highlighted the Japanese culture. There was a matcha ceremony and a special spectacle. This allowed us to better understand the country and its people. I had the pleasure of seat at a table with only Japanese guests, and it was a very special experience that taught me a lot about this lovely country. Right after I joined the iconic Roberto Cavalli Ray of Sea party. A high-energy night of fashion and music that gathered creatives, models, and artists from across the globe. It was so sophisticated and full os sexy glamour. Nearly everyone was wearing Cavalli dresses and looked incredible. I attend it event every year and it is becoming my tradition already.

Women Empowerment & Impact: Forbes and Herflix Events.
Also on the 19th, I had the pleasure of attending events hosted by Forbes and Herflix, both focused on championing women in the media and entertainment industries. These gatherings weren’t just about celebration—they fostered powerful conversations around innovation, leadership, and inclusivity in film and tech. Thalie Paris, the brand created by my friend Nathalie, was a partner of this event and promoted an exclusive collection of Gatsby clutches. This collection was created in partnership with Gatsy Randalf, an American celebrity who was also present during this event and helped with the entertainment.

A Night for Purpose: Better World Fund Gala
On May 20th, the Better World Fund Gala stood out as one of the most heartfelt highlights of my stay. Held to promote sustainability and humanitarian storytelling, the evening was filled with deeply moving speeches, meaningful art, and a shared vision for a more conscious film industry. This year, Manuel Collas De La Roche invited Mira Nair, Indian producer and director, as a special guest, as India was the country of honour. We could, of course, spot many stars like: Kevin Spacey, or Mohamed Hadid. For this event, Thalie Paris donated a unique Livia handbag, and I was the one presenting it on the stage. I was wearing a beautiful gown donated by Parisian Haute Couture Designer Stéphane Rolland and shoes by Rodo.

Exclusive Evenings: Chopard Dinner & Philipp Plein Fashion Show
The next evening started with Philipp Plein Resort collection fashion show held at the Carlton Beach. As always, with PP, it was a true testament, edgy glamour and fearless design. All the guests looked incredible in Philipp’s designs, which, even though they are so extravagant, are so wearable and just perfect for the SOF glam. Of course, I was also wearing Philipp’s design, I chose a Lace Piercing Long dress.

Just after I attended the Chopard Private Dinner. I was picked up by a Genesis car that was a partner of Chopard during the Film Festival. This dinner, hosted together with “Jacky” Ickx. It was a celebration of timeless elegance and high jewellery. The rooftop of the Martinez Hotel was the location of this event, and it was full of celebrities, stars and Formula One pilots. There was a watch masterclass and cigar classes, and the whole night felt like a dream.

A Fragrant Escape with Lancôme
Amid Red Carpets and soirées, during the week, I received a different kind of invitation. An intimate event with the Lancôme family, a journey to Domaine de la Rose. This serene experience immersed us in the delicate beauty of rose cultivation and perfumery, highlighting the brand’s deep connection to nature and craftsmanship. It was so serene and beautiful. Something that I will cherish in my memory each time I reach out to my big collection of Lancôme perfumes.

The Red Carpets: Cinematic Moments I’ll Never Forget during the 78th Cannes Film Festival.
I was honoured to walk four red carpets during the festival, each one a tribute to powerful storytelling.
- Spike Lee’s “Highest 2 Lowest “ The film’s premiere was a cinematic spectacle, and the emotional tribute to Denzel Washington, one of my lifelong idols, was deeply moving.
- On the 21st of May, I attended “The History of Sound” by Oliver Hermanus. It was a breathtaking visual and emotional journey through time, music, and identity.
- On the 22nd of May, I attended a screening of “Woman and Child” by Saeed Roustaee explored profound emotional depths with masterful storytelling.
- The last movie I watched was “Jeunes Mères” by Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne offered a raw and poignant look at motherhood and resilience.

A Grand Finale in Monaco: Big Art Festival.
The festival came to a perfect close with the Big Art Festival in Monaco on May 23rd—a celebration of artistic expression that brought together creators, visionaries, and philanthropists for one last magical evening under the stars. In a stunning venue of the Sporting Club in Monte Carlo during the Monaco GP, we could enjoy a wonderful dinner, dance to the performance of Black Eyed Peas and Craig Daving and other stars. The place was filled with celebrities, including Kevin Spacey, Daniel Radcliffe, and Leonie Hanne, among others. It was the perfect event to conclude my stay in SOF and bring back incredible memories to Geneva.

Final Thoughts
From the dazzling red carpets to the quiet, meaningful moments in between, this year’s Cannes Film Festival was more than just a showcase of cinematic brilliance—it was a reminder of the power of art to inspire, connect, and create change.
