Timewise Line by Mary Kay – Vitamin C for your skin glow.

TimeWise by Mary Kay.

In April I have received a package with beautiful, pink products from Geneva’s Mary Kay director Lina Swiss Diamonds Beauty Mary Kay.

The package contained products from the TimeWise line: one of my favourite products ever- Lifting Bio-Cellulose Mask, Repair® Volu-Fill® Deep Wrinkle Filler, Vitamin C Activating Squares and Replenishing Serum+C. I have always been a huge fan of skincare with the use of vitamin C. So far my favourite vitamin C product was a Khiel’s Vitamin C concentrate, which I was using at least once per year. However, I decided to commit and use MK vitamin C products for 1 month and I described my experience below.

First,

What is Vitamin C? And why it’s good for our skin?

Vitamin C will not only bring your skin radiance but also protect skin from environmental pollution increasing collagen production and much more.

Some facts about the vitamin C:

  • Vitamin C is an antioxidant, which means it protects against free radicals.
  • Vitamin C also helps visibly brighten the skin by diminishing the appearance of dark spots.
  • Reduce the signs of ageing by improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots.

It has so many benefits, but it’s important to use the right product in the right way.

What I used and how?

1. TimeWise Replenishing Serum+C.

This product is now the number 1 Vitamin C product that I have used. I really like the packaging: in the box, you will find 4 smaller pump bottles, each one lasts for around 1 week if it is used daily.

On the MK website I have found this information about the product:

“This antioxidant-rich serum is powered by a potent blend of multiple botanical extracts. These extracts are derived from natural ingredients known for their high levels of Vitamin C, which can help protect skin against free radical damage that can impact skin firmness and definition. “

And here are some results based on the studies:

  • 90% said their skin looked enhanced
  • 89% said their skin looked lifted and more resilient.
  • 86%said their skin looked more toned.
  • 79%said their skin looked younger.

I must say that this product worked wonders on my skin too.

I used this treatment for 1 month, 3 pumps of the serum in the morning and 3 pumps at night.

In the morning I followed the routine with a day cream with SPF 30 and at night with either night cream, serum or night oil. The texture of the serum is very light and smooth, it doesn’t leave skin sticky ( like other vitamin C serums that I used). In all cases, the result in the morning was the same. The skin looked really fresh and radiant. I have had a lot of questions about my skin routine lately and I am certain that this serum was the one that made the difference. My skin definitely looks more even and glowing, however it didn’t diminish the fine lines that I have.

Overall I am extremely happy with this treatment and I will repeat it twice a year from now on.

TimeWise Vitamin C Activating Squares, my top Mary Kay product.

According to top the producer:

“It’s a revolutionary skincare innovation that delivers pure vitamin C to your skin in a tiny, dissolvable square. So small, it can sit on your fingertip; so powerful, it can supercharge your serum with benefits boost. In just two weeks,* skin looks more radiant and even-toned, and fine lines and wrinkles look improved. Just activate one square in the palm of your hand, and it dissolves into a pure vitamin C age-fighting powerhouse.”

It is truly revolutionary skincare that can be easily added to your current skin routine without big changes. I used it with Mary Kay skin serum, but it can be used with any serum that you have. I used the squares the same time as Vitamin C serum, but only 3 times per week, as advised. I like the advanced way of using it and that it’s so small and can be easily packed into the hand luggage during travels.

After using both products I can say that my skin is really nicely prepared for summer. Skin tone is more even, skin is glowing and looks lifted. I will definitely use both products again. The serum has fabulous packaging, texture, smell and effects, squares are amazing for travels, they will not even take space in your make-up bag.
