After the incredible success of the inaugural PHILIPP PLEIN Swiss Made timepieces during Watches and Wonders 2023, the brand unveiled a new collection this year. This year Philipp Plein showcased a collection with 2 lines of masterpieces: the PHILIPP PLEIN Crypto King Flying Tourbillon and the Crypto King Hexagon.

These watches are made with the Timex Luxury Division in Lugano and are made there. This means that PP Timemachine watches are Swiss-made and represent the highest quality and cutting-edge movements.

For this season PHILIPP PLEIN decided to present the new collection with an exclusive pop-up store in the heart of Geneva. During a few days, press and buyers could make an appointment to see their collection over there. The city was buzzing and this exclusive pop-up brought a lot of attention from all kinds of media and public. There was also an event where Philipp Plein himself expressed his excitement and personally met with the audience.

THE CRYPTO KING FLYING TOURBILLON: BEYOND TIME
This exceptional creation marks a significant step forward for PHILIPP PLEIN in the world of Haute Horlogerie, pushing the boundaries of innovation and craftsmanship while solidifying the brand’s position at the forefront of watchmaking artistry. The bespoke Landeron calibre PWL100LPP Manual winding Flying Coaxial Tourbillon movement is a demonstration of watchmaking virtuosity while integrating PHILIPP’s passion for mechanical innovation. The exceptionally open window dial offers an exciting view of the flying tourbillon; its inner workings are revealed as a symphony of gears seemingly floating, giving the impression of weightlessness, and offering perfect visibility. The Coaxial escapement, a testament to Swiss precision engineering, further enhances the watch’s exceptional performance. The collection offers four distinct models, each boasting an exceptional colour combination that defies convention.
DARE DEVIL XII: A fiery fusion of red and white, featuring a transparent PU strap for a modern touch.
NINJA PANDA: A classic contrast of black and white, with the white silicone strap complementing the look.
DRAGON FIRE: An electrifying mix of black and orange, accentuated by a soft-touch silicone strap.
NIGHT WOLF: The pinnacle of the collection, showcases an attractive black carbon case alongside luxurious 18k Rose Gold screws, a hexagonal side cage, and a crown.
And there is a surprise for everyone once they check the back of the watch. The back case window showcases disruptive elements – the brand’s iconic $miley and $kull-bone alongside the watchmaker’s signature initials.
These watches are produced in limited editions, each Crypto King Flying Tourbillon embodies the esteemed tradition of Swiss watchmaking while remaining true to the brand’s unconventional and irreverent philosophy.
THE CRYPTO KING HEXAGON: ARCHITECTURAL SOPHISTICATION.
This watch embodies the perfect harmony of functionality, architecture, and design. Its distinctive features include a tonneau-shaped case adorned with the brand’s signature hexagonal motif, a cutting-edge strap, and a powerful Swiss-made automatic movement. The impeccable craftsmanship and robust case construction uphold the highest standards of Swiss watchmaking precision.
Measuring 55 x 45 mm, the Crypto King Hexagon boasts a double-layered, open dial showcasing the recognizable hexagon logo with the double PPemblem. The see-through caseback and double-domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating provide a mesmerizing glimpse into the intricate workings of the timepiece.
Ladies Watches that were launched last year.
Apart from these novelties, we could also see the line launched last year during Watches and Wonders. I was happy to try on some of the Crypto Queen watches again. Some of my favourite ladies’ watches are Snow White and Cherry Blossom Ice Queen. Very feminine and modern.

The most beautiful hotel in the Engelberg area presents modern luxury comfort and charming Belle Epoque design. It has 129 contemporary rooms and suites with exceptional views of the mountains. There is a Gault & Millau restaurant, a rooftop spa, a stunning pool and a relaxation room. One of the best kids’ clubs in Switzerland. A wonderful concierge team, that will help you to plan your stay to every detail. All of this is surrounded by fresh air and beautiful nature. I had the pleasure to spend a few days in April together with my family in this lovely hotel. We experienced their wonderful hospitality and we plan to be back in the winter. In my review, I will focus mostly on the family experience because for me it is very important.

Thermal Hotels & Walliser Alpentherme. Leukerbad has 3.9 million liters of 51°C water comes to the surface every day, which is enough to to fill all 30 pools in the town. It is the biggest amount of thermal water all over Europe, that is one of the reasons why this place is so unique and special. This water fills out pools in Alpetherme too. There is an indoor, 200 square pool with 36 and 40 degrees water temperature and an outdoor, 300 squares meters pool with a temperature of 36 degrees. The second one has the most beautiful Alpine backdrop panorama that is just magical.
