Some birthdays whisper. This one walked in wearing stilettos, red lipstick, and a faux fur coat.
For my birthday this year, I traded soft pastels for drama and created a full Mob Wife aesthetic party at the iconic Godfather Club, inspired by the timeless glamour and shadowy elegance of The Godfather movie.
Think candlelight, bold silhouettes, gold jewellery, tarot cards on velvet tables, and just enough mystery to make the night feel like a scene from a vintage film.
It wasn’t just a party.
It felt like stepping into a cinematic universe where every guest had a story.

The Vision: Mob Wife Energy Only.
I wanted the evening to feel:
• glamorous
• powerful
• a little dramatic
• very Italian mafia romance
• and unapologetically feminine
The Mob Wife trend has been everywhere lately, from Pinterest boards to fashion week street style, so it felt like the perfect theme to celebrate another year older and bolder.
Picture this:
Velvet. Gold. Deep reds. Animal print. Champagne. Tarot decks. Low lights. Laughter that echoes.
That was the mood.
I created a mood around a deep burgundy colour. This was my moodboard.
We also did a special Cocktails menu, with Espresso Martini and Pornstar martinis as main drinks, but we have also had non alcoholic options and of course champagne.
The Location: Godfather Club Vibes
The Godfather Club gave us exactly what we needed.
Dim lights, moody corners, rich interiors, and that secret-society atmosphere that makes you feel like something legendary might happen at any moment.
It already felt cinematic, so we only had to add:
• candles everywhere
• dark florals
• gold details
• music
The whole room looked like a still from a film.
My Birthday Look
If there’s ever a time to dress like the main character, it’s your birthday.
I went for a modern Mob Wife:

Activities That Made the Night Unforgettable
I didn’t want a typical dinner party. I wanted experiences.
Every Party starts with beautiful decorations. My decorations were made by a fantastic MO Party Planner, and they nailed it.
Regarding the cake, I wanted a retro cake in a bordau colour that was just picture perfect. Cake was made by Valascakes.
Tarot Reading Corner
We set up a tarot table with candles and velvet cloth.
Each friend got a private reading.
Some were romantic. Some chaos. Some are suspiciously accurate.
It gave the night a mystical, almost cinematic twist.
Mafia Game
We played a classic mafia party game, which was perfectly on theme.
Accusations, fake innocence, dramatic speeches.
Let’s just say… some of my friends are very convincing liars.
Champagne & Late Night Dancing
After dinner, the club transformed into pure celebration mode.
Music louder by Iambirdy. Heels kicked off. Glasses refilled.
That beautiful moment when everyone forgets the time and just lives.
