Snow Polo St. Moritz is one of those events that perfectly defines winter luxury. Every year, the frozen lake in the heart of the Engadin transforms into an extraordinary arena where sport, fashion, and an international crowd come together in effortless harmony. For me, Snow Polo is not just a tournament. It is a complete lifestyle experience and one I look forward to every winter.

Sport in Its Most Elegant Form.
The setting of Snow Polo St. Moritz is truly unique. Horses galloping across the frozen lake, surrounded by snow-covered Alps and a light that gives the entire event a cinematic quality. The excitement on the field attracts both polo enthusiasts and guests who come for the atmosphere itself. In St. Moritz, polo takes on a refined, luxurious character that feels both timeless and modern.

Style is just as important as the game. Cashmere layers, furs, perfectly tailored coats, and winter accessories define the look of the event. Snow Polo is one of the rare occasions where fashion is not an accessory, but an essential part of the experience.

Where to Stay During Snow Polo in St. Moritz.
Choosing the right hotel during Snow Polo is key, as this is where days begin and end. Badrutt’s Palace Hotel remains an icon of St. Moritz, synonymous with elegance and the centre of social life during the event. Equally classic is the Kulm Hotel, combining history, impeccable service, and a prime location. If you look for a calmer atmosphere and an incredible spa, then Suvretta House is the best option, with its recently renovated Spa. For people who love a busy lobby, an elegant breakfast and old charm, I also recommend the Kempinski Hotel. I have stayed there on many occassions and it’s always one of my first choices in St. Moritz.

St. Moritz by Day.
While Snow Polo sets the rhythm, St. Moritz offers much more beyond the matches. Mornings are perfect for skiing or a relaxed walk through town, followed by lunch overlooking the lake. The days unfold in a natural alpine flow where luxury feels effortless rather than overstated.

Fashion and Shopping: Mytheresa Pop-Up.
One of the highlights of the weekend was the Mytheresa Pop-Up. Perfectly aligned with the spirit of St. Moritz, it reflects modern luxury, style awareness, and curated fashion at its best. Carefully selected collections, a refined atmosphere, and an international audience turn fashion into an integral part of the Snow Polo experience.

Evenings: Galas and After Parties.
Evenings during Snow Polo are pure glamour. The official gala dinners at Kulm Hotel ( by Anashi Brand and La Mer) and Badrutt’s Palace ( the official Snow Polo Gala) are among the most anticipated moments of the weekend. Elegant settings, international guests, and flawless organisation make each night unforgettable.

After the galas, the energy naturally flows into exclusive after parties. Music, conversations, and the vibrant night atmosphere give St. Moritz a magnetic quality long after the matches end. For the party, Billionaire St. Moritz or Dracula club are the places to be.

Snow Polo St. Moritz as an Experience.
Snow Polo St. Moritz brings together everything that defines winter luxury: world-class sport, fashion, exceptional locations, and an international crowd. For me, it is more than a report from an event. It is a story about a lifestyle that values quality, aesthetics, and emotion.
